Posted this up for feedback a while ago, but didn't get much response. Rearranged some of the tune as the low bass was so muddy I couldn't actually tell it was out of key. I've done this as a bounce on Logic, but really should bounce down all the files individually and then do it all proper like, but tell me what you think.

Hmm....

Been working away on loads of bits and pieces this week so hopefully get another one posted up this week with any luck. Retired my sampler before christmas and haven't managed/been able to copy the zip disks to my Emulator X, so have ditched most of my old stuff and started writing new toons.
Not exactly cutting edge, but then I prefer the older stuff to be honest. Not mad keen on this half step thing, some's good though. Might be spearheading the retro dubstep vibe I guess.
Jeez, I might be becoming the Paul Weller of the dubstep scene...eugh!!!

This takes too long to drop but is good when it does.
Really nice bass. I'd agree it sounds old skool but old skool aphex/rephlex style synth bass as well as old skool UKG but i like the combo.
The atmospheres need to be much lower in the mix as they are drowning things out. The violin also sounds a bit detached from the track in places.
Maybe bring the bass up slightly and shorten the intro and breakdown at 6 mins or so. It is a long track which could work well with the last section but maybe vary the bass on that last drop to make that third drop worthwhile otherwise you could easily condense the whole piece to 5 mins and it would have much more impact.
Good stuff.
