Chicago-based Jay Oskulata is bringing the fire to Certified Bass records once more. Whilst most known for his eclectic, soulful and jazzy vibes, Jay Oskulata does not shy away from experimenting with his heavier tendencies, and believe me, he’s comfortable producing any genre. From Hip-Hop to House, Trap to Dubstep, Future Soul to Glitch, Jay Oskulata knows no bounds.
This mini-EP consists of two cataclysmic beasts of audio creation. Illin is the first track to drop, and it drops hard. Pulsating and deeply mesmerising bass lines that will leave you feeling like you’ve just stuck your head in a microwave (in a good way). The second track is the aptly named Operation Overload, which is just all-out insane LFO madness, with Trap-esque percussion and supreme production levels, it’s the perfect compliment to Illin.
Be sure to check this one out. Release date is Saturday 14th March, exclusive to Beatport for two weeks.
