35000ft descent in 8mins

the a320 has a working life of 6-8 years before refit and 19yrs before they should be 'retired'. this one was 24yrs old :corntard:

I can't even imagine losing one's child/children. That sounds like the worst. My thoughts are with the families.

read ysterday that if they lost pressure at 38k feet they would have to get lower so ppl could breathe (to around 10k feet). The o2 masks give air for 10mins so 3k feet per minute descent would have just about got them to the right altitude so passengers could breathe ok. maybe they just lost control or something after that. so sad

according to swiss newspapers, their descent was orderly and normal descending speed. nothing overly chaotic. and an A320 could've reached Nizza airport even with failing turbines... a lot of confusion around what happened, sadly. :(

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.
