Personally, I've always considered these as 50% true, 50% bullshit.

You can't argue with most of these. Maybe some of the terms are a bit odd.

What difference does it make that one person says the low-mids start at 250 and one person says they start at 200. I don't see any usefulness in making that concrete. Charts like these kinda feel like using a buzzfeed article in a research essay...

Think they're a good way for knewbs to start looking when they set out to eq. Not much more. But nudges in the right direction like this can shave time off the learning curve.

Certainly. I guess I was just trying to figure out--in my typical grumpy fashion--what the OP was really looking for out of this discussion.
