Use of Marijuana at Dubstep Nights

Is it just me or that less and less people are using weed nowadays. Is the smoking ban in england really getting to the weed smokers? I remember the first times I went to FWD and DMZ and when you walked in you were surroounded by smoke. Everyone was passing smokes around. And for me it really added to the vibe.

Now its undoubtable that things aren't the same with the smoking ban. That's not my point.

What I'm wondering is, for you, (and not just UK dubsteppers, this applies to anyone whose country has been affected by a smoking ban) have you been smoking less weed in conjunction with dubstep? Because when I step out for a smoke I'm seeing less and less people joining me. It's a bit too bad because being drinking with dubstep is fun for me, but not nearly as fun.

My question to the weed smokers (or former weed smokers) how has your usage of weed changed over the past few months?

Thoughts?

edit: Please keep in mind this is not a bitch and moan session. I'm dealing with it. I just want to know what other people are feeling on the topic.

Usage has changed but only cause in a smokeless club obv if your in a cloud in the corner ...... Still smoke one everyday at some point.

Earlier this year i would blaze a ten, maybe an 8th at a dubstep party because i could and i didn't have tok eep going outside...
My weed consumption has naturally gone down due to not being able to skin up/blaze where i want...
I now find myself outside only a couple of times a night skinning up in the cold and blazing it as fast as i can!!

I hope were gunna be able to blaze it up at FWD>> tomorrow in the warehouse!! Bring back the marijuana vibes!! Lighters!!

I was at a breaksphere night in exeter seeing caspa. I was having a fucking good stomp loving his set, i decided that i had to roll a spliff (as i do most times i listen to dubstep) I smoked it back obvioulsy passing it round! Next thing i know ive got a bouncer grabbing my arm leading me to the door searching me and finding my green! Next thing i know the police are being called. I had to wait for an hour while the police showed up missing the majority of Caspa, and the police takeing the rest of my ten bag!

I knowit was proably my own stupid fault for smoking a spliff in a small club but before the smoking ban i always could get away with a blaze. . .
But i certainly havent been smoking less weed in conjunction with dubstep since the smoking ban, i just smoke a fuck load before i got have a couple of cheeky spliffs outside during the night then blaze to buggery afterwards!

yes this topic has been on my mind for a while...

I have certainly cut down while out at nights, and yeah thats because of the ban, its REALLY hard to smoke bud in clubs if no one is smoking cigarettes... i imagine if you were in somehere like Ministry or Fabric its probably possible... but alot of nights here in UK are not in massive venues, and bouncers are way more vigilant now because they can be fined.

thats one of the reasons i've reached one night in Dam this year, and gonna do another on 23rd December. man, that was sooo lush to be able to smoke while listening to Quest rip it up at Deep Medi... personaly for me, it wouldn't have been as special as it was without being blunted! some will probably say thats bollocks, but i'm not trying to say the whole night was better with bud, i'm just saying it enhanced it, for me.

your right Incyde, it has changed going out to nights for me...but i feel in your teen years it would have been REALLY hard to go out with out green, but now i'm comfortably in my twenties, i don't feel the yurn as bad.

doesn't mean i smoke less at home though

It's not even like it's that heavily enforced, everyones too prang to bun up.

i hate missing any of a night having to go outside
usually bring a few pre rolls and cain out to blaze them quickly, but smoking less in the dance than i would previously

all about skanking out, zoot in one hand, brandy and coke in the other...
hate not havin a zoot when im playing out, all about bunnin one while u mix...

Smoking weed in the club was defo one of the things i really liked about London before i moved here... now it is just.. fucked.

and yeah.. while i still go out for spliffs i think i am smoking less.. especially at something like dmz when you have to walk a couple of miles to reach the doors..
