Bit of an experimental thing.

Drums sound a bit bait in my opinion. A bit like a kid gone crazy with a drum machine.

Not much drop with that bass. a bit weak but the melody works well and i like the pitched up vocal. The half step thing is a bit bare maybe try some high action and cut some of those rolling snares, especially in the intro. Doesn't particularly go anywhere but is the nice basis for a track....the second drop does have the excellent dissonent melody and is nice but the bass needs to be more subby and the drums less military.

Maybe a couple more samples to flow across it.....

Like the ideas.

Thanks for the feedback. Been a bitch layering that bass, layered the bottom end bout three times and it still dont bring it out. Think im gonna have to filter it and push it out with resonance and layer that another 100 times! lol. Yeah, drums do get a bit hectic, lol. Still gonna feel it up with some more sounds, does get a bit bare.

Really like the bass line, it's got a real, formant vocal quality sound to it, little bit didgeridoo, but needs a sub underneath it as it's not quite hitting the low notes.

Not too keen on the constant snare roll thing and I think it needs more variation, but the elements are good. Sounded a bit dry to my tastes, could maybe do with some mad, space echo feedback or something to add depth.

Let us know when you've got the finished version up, really liked Grit Trench so know what you're capable of - any chance of doing it in full-time rather than half-step as I think that would bring out the more rolling element of the bassline.
Hmm....
