Not near the black swan, over towards st andrews or bishopston would be better. Saying that i don't own a car but my mates have never had a car break in round here.

I've parked directly outside the Swan on tons of occasions (on Stapleton Road, usually in the parking bay on the other side of the wall from the Swan's car park) - never had a problem, even with the odd slightly swanky looking hire car. All of Bristol is well dodgy for car crime, so I don't think it'd be any worse there than anywhere else. Please don't blame me if you have a problem though!
