i just hope they don't twist the story to make it all about the conspiritorial / surveilance aspects of the novel. from the trailer one could get that impression. there's much more depth to it than that.

it's linklater though, so I have faith..it seems like it's taking forever to make though, same as Southland Tales and The Fountain..
"At the workplace, you shouldn’t look at problems in a traditional way. There might be better solutions. Dare to be creative," is Wang’ archlord power leveling s advice."
The post production on that super advanced, anima-solarization process must take time.
it's one of those films that i really want to see but don't want to be let down.
i don't have the same faith in linklater to pull it off. but i live to be surprised.

I definitley feel that. Im super excited to see it though, as you can tell from my name Im a huge PKD fan. Its weird to me that so many other dubstep/grime heads gravitate towards his stuff. Anyone else noticed this? I was thinking it might have something to do with enjoying challenging material.boomnoise wrote: it's one of those films that i really want to see but don't want to be let down.

Really? Even School of Rock???Sire wrote:My favourite author, my favourite filmmaker.. Can't wait! Waking Life was brilliant!
Scanner Darkly is my favourite PKD book. Its just perfect.
I can't wait for this film - there are so many coming out this year.... Southland Tales (Richard Kelly), London Fields (Cronenberg), Inland Empire (Lynch)... and a few others I've forgotten about. I had them a minute ago.
