Club Love in NYC is starting 2008 in epic fashion by launching Takeover Fridays. 4 of the city's ruffest events will have rotating Fridays at Love, so that everyone who loves BASS can get their weekly dose on the monstrous Love soundsystem every Friday. Sub Swara, Secret Night of Science, Dub War and now also Trouble & Bass will all have monthly Friday residencies to form Takeover Fridays. AND to kick it all off Love is having an epic launch party on January 4th where all 4 crews join forces for one night only!...

One thing I have to announce with regret is that Mr Joe Nice, Dub War's King James, will not be able to play this night. SO, in his place we'll have the man like NICK ARGON filling in!

This is the type of shit that pisses me off... back in the day, I used to get angry because I had no choices. If I didn't like who was playing at Dubwar, there'd be no dubstep that month.

Now if I don't like who is playing, I have almost 3 choices within 3 hours drive, and also I pretty much always like who is playing... now I'm bitching about too many parties and not enough money. Whoa is me.

I'll do my best to make it, but Jesus Christ... you guys are killin me, I'm going to have to make some tough choices here.

ANYONE WHO WANTS TO GO TO THIS SHOULD BUY A PRESALE TICKET... if you've ever been to Trouble and Bass, you know this shit will be packed and Dubwar kru always turns out as well... SubSwara kru packs LOVE too.... basically be in line at 8pm or you aren't getting in!!!

dunno if i can stress this enough but GET THERE EARLY. besides the fun of seeing all of the SIXTEEN dj's of the night "re-score" rockers in a subswara/dubwar/secretnight/trouble&bass way... the club WILL get rammed and stay that way, and the spirit of Mr. Jose Noches will run deep the whole night. the earlier you're there, the less you're gonna have to deal with waiting on line.

Besides, we're all really friendly and most of us smell surprisingly fresh and clean--at least, before we play.
