Thom Yorke Bass Mixes To see Release

Post by kuma » Wed Dec 12, 2007 8:45 pm

Wait a minute, Thom Yorke? Didn't that guy's solo album come out in, like, 2006? It sure did, but that hasn't stopped XL Recordings from preparing a trio of slick new 12"s collecting remixes of assorted tracks off The Eraser. Bearing the clunky but informative titles "Harrowdown Hill (The Bug Remix) / The Clock (Surgeon Remix) / Cymbal Rush (The Field Remix)", "Atoms for Peace (Four Tet Remix) / Black Swan (Christian Vogel Remix 1) / Black Swan (Christian Vogel Remix 2)", and "And It Rained All Night (Burial Remix) / Skip Divided (Modeselektor Remix) / Analyse (Various Remix)", the 12"s contain, well, precisely that. Look for all three in UK shoppes beginning February 4.

Great news.

That Bug remix sounded amazing from the short clip I heard on the BAPS show.

The Surgeon remix has been floating around for a while as a free mp3. I'm excited about The Bug and Burial remixes. :o

Completely speechless. :o
Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

This looks top!

Love the solo album. Its been slowly building on me over the course of this year.

Some good remixers in there, these should be excellent.

I love Atoms For Peace, looking forward to the Four Tet remix ALOT

Yes, his solo album is marvellous and there are some really good tunes over there, personally my selection it would be Harrowdown Hill but i am bit suspect when it comes to talk about Thom Yorke and Radiohead, defo one of my favourite's bands alongside with Pink Floyd, The Doors and Joy Division, yes i am rockhead as well.
Anyway this mighty package looks big and i can't wait to get my hands on these remixes, big up all the names involved.

He has just released a new album called 'The Never Engine' on Tresor.

He will be playing live at bloc next year n'all...
