mozart 3000 is dumb

Post by adruu » Sat Dec 15, 2007 6:24 am

i really dont get this shit at all. i bet it gets a crowd response, but did this really need to come out on wax? if it's become this easy for people to put out shit wax then someone has too much money on their hands...

for me, the only dumb thing about it is that it isn't mozart but carl orff. but that's a minor. sure it's a played out sample but the original sample source really does affect, no matter what context you put it in.

it's not the most amazing tune dubstep has concocted but it is fuckin enjoyable nonetheless!

The tune is so heavy not only for the sample but also for the structure ... really deep and barely ever stops. Sometimes you need a tune which repeats and this one works like a charm.

yeah id av to agree - not impressed by this 1

b side by king soly sounds more like it

kromestar seems to have a record coming out every other week n most of the releases are nothing special in my opinion, like this one
but just occasionaly theres is a few classics
like the rainy days / marz attack on deep medi
the zulu dance on bare dubs

man i know people get sick of people bitchion on the forum all the time n i know im probily gona get hung drawn n quatered 4 dissin kromestar
i dont know id just rarther artists and labels release a couple a year that were absolute classics than have a couple of average releases poping up every month if yer get me

regardless of the sample the underlying tune is a sick riddim. can't get enough of Cotti, clukid , kromestar at the moment.

King Soly track is an ingle.

I'm going to need a new copy soon if I don't stop playing it over and over!

this thread is dumb if you ask me, if you don't like the tune fair enough, but no need to go slewin it like that, kinda rude to producers

id think if they're grownups they should be able to handle it . also theyre just people and shouldnt be immune to criticism

havent heard the tune myself , now after a quick listen , sitting here in my chair im a little unimpressed , but mainly cuz imo remixing that tune is too obvious . its heavy , but i fell like it didnt need a dubstep remix. also i think the riddim is aight and didnt need to have a tune thrown on top of it to be released. i could see it popping off out at a show for sure

yeah fair enough, it was the way it was worded really, could have just been like "yeah not to keen on this tune " rather than just calling it dumb in a rather throwaway manner
