First Tune: Am I crazy or does it have potential? 320/Stream

Post by lil-dice » Mon Dec 24, 2007 1:49 am

Well after screwing around with Reason, and some NI tools for about a month I finally have something that's more than a 5 second loop.

Am I crazy or does it have potential? Mixdown, etc. obviously not done yet, but I think it's a good start. Any pointers?

I think the low end is weak now, but I feel like I have a good start.

Do the vocals work? I know it's not traditional dubstep, but hey that's the fun part about dubstep.

I think the strings are sick, they too cheesy though?

Thanks a lot, I'll give it a try. I think I need to sit down and diagram some songs as stupid as that sounds. I've been listening to electronic music for a long time, but I never have really paid as much attention to it as I have rock music so I don't know the song structure.

Intro/Body/Breakdown/Body/outro or whatever.

It's fun though!
