Much better than the prev version pt2 on myspace. The elements work well and then bass is nice. I'm not so sure about the breakbeat at the 2nd drop. It is a nice idea but may work better if you just did a twisted variation of the original beat (glitches, slicing, squarepusher it up!). It is slightly strange having a completely new break just for effect...the same kind of effect can be achieved better by manipulating what you've got.
Sounding better every version 8-bit. Good to see you sticking with a track and improving it...it is sounding very heavy as a result.
Well done!

i seen in the new XLR8R mag that it says8bitwonder wrote:theres loadsa heresay about things i have done with al-haca and tape
ive done two remixes of earth and working on new stuff with rqm
that tape mix album is really wicked tho
and so on...Highlights include Forss' "Soulhack" (sounding like the best choclate industries joint they never signed) 8-Bits "I-Deez" (as in the hook: "Robots dont got no drivers license, so we gotta get fake...")
was just curious if this was your track, and if it is...nice one.
got a good review in one of the premiere mags in the universe IMO.

yeahloads to do on the track yet--Shonky wrote:More fine work. Wasn't too sure about the second break, really liked it but think it should have stuck around longer as that explodes and then sort of drops out losing the energy it brought in.
Minor quibble though - maybe a separate breakstep mix?
seems like im going down the break step route lately..hhhhmmmm
shall see what happens i guess#
thanks guys top notch!

Like it man. Propper feelin the production on the more middy bassline- sounds tight as fuck, the rate mods keep it interesting without being like some a.d.d. kid on an lfo workout.
Gotta say i prefer the half-stepping bit to the 2nd drop, lost my head nod during that bit. Prob just too caned for it at the mo. All good though.
