Grit Trench- Finished At Last

Post by docwra » Mon May 08, 2006 7:06 pm

Actually got round to finishing this off. Been busy with new stuff. Sorted out a few peaking levels. Not changed any sequences or anything, jus how it was before. But i have layered a sub under that bass that needed it(think u know wot im on about). Try'd lowpassing the original bass and layering it bout ten times to get the sub out but that didnt work. So i got a sub patch and enveloped it with quite a bit of attack to give the sub that rising effect like the bass has. Think it works pretty well.

Anyway give me your opinions:

Likin it man. That attack on the bass spits you out and the sub pulls you back in. Good for the head nod. The drum edits are wicked too and little bits of melody, nice panned atmos too. Reckon it'd bash the shit out of a crowd if it was loud enough. Only complaint is maybe the snare could be louder but i guess thats down to personal preference and people normally tell me mine are too loud....

not hugely my thing, cos i prefer slightly less 'industrial' dubstep as such

i think there needs to be some sort of new drop earlier on to sustain interest too. i was getting a bit bored of the pattern.

maybe switch up the drums a bit, add some new sub patterns.

Yeah, good work, nice edits - pure filth man. Heavier snare needed though
Hmm....

digging the sounds. ditto: harder snare, more variation. and i could do with a bit more swing or step in the drums. over all vibe is killer!

Im google it before post it. No one store sale this track.
Also, Docwra is inactive from 2008, I think this track will be forever dub.
Maybe someone will share this track?

With a quick google search I found his facebook profile, I'm sure if you do the same you will find it. You could then message him on Facebook and ask if he has the track.
