Tes La Rok, hailing from the utter north of Europe (Finland) is one of those revelations of 2007. Those who visit dubstepforum.com regularly might know him since 2006 as he posted a lot of his present releases in the dub section there. He’s already got so many talked-about releases on labels like ‘Bare Dubs’, ‘NarcoHz’, ‘Contagious’, ‘Mode’ etc under his belt. Mark our words: this guy is having an important influence on the scene’s direction!

Mate (Warriorz, After 12)
In the most recent chapter of an interesting and eclectic deejay career in which a lot of different styles have previously crossed his path, Mate now seems to have found his true home in dubstep. He was among the first to introduce jungle to Belgium during the early 90's and a decade later he's doing the same with dubstep. Ask any Belgian dubstep head what the connection is between Ghent and dubstep and 9 out of 10 will answer 'Mate'.
