Vadarfone. Radial Head Fracture

Post by vadarfone » Mon Jan 21, 2008 12:14 pm

Yo.

I thought it was about time I started putting some tracks up here.

I made this one the other day, just after I broke my elbow. Agony it was.

Well, I hope you like it. More to come later, when my painkillers kick in and I can stop wincing.

brooding and minimal, grunge roller

atmospheres and all the little sounds and elements in the background are really good, like it a lot.

the intro is outstanding, cannot fault it

The intro is deeeeep.

Really involving.. everything sounds in place

That midrange bass bass is GRIT brother, keep on that i ain't heard nothing like this yet.

I like the way the sub comes in, only a certain bit hits.. drumroll sounds tight

the percussion is tight..

the atmospherics sounds really good too.

keep doing what ur doing.. have an insane amount of tunes made (finished or unfinished)

finish like 10 tunes and see where ur at then...

of course, post em up if u need opinions on any !
(i'll prolly miss a few , but gime a PM with a link to the thread)

I'll be glad to comment.

Nice one lads.

I actually do have shit loads of tracks done. I just never give them out to anyone but my friends. My new years resolution was to stop being such a recluse and get them out into the open.

I will upload the rest of what I have as I mix them down.

(The two tracks I posted so far have not actually been mixed down. I just bounced them straight out of Renoise, using guess work. They haven't passed through monitors of any kind, just my headphones, hence the whacky mixes. I live in an apartment in Japan, so monitors are totally out of the question. If I get the chance to take what I have to a studio, I will mixdown the lot there and repost)

easy owen, recognise most of this one!

really like it. as stated by some other chap the intro is marvellous. really moody, love the clanky snares, bells, sort of reversed reverby delayish thing. all lovely.

i felt the drop needed a little more impact and that the bass started out a little jerky sounding for some reason and that those lush table sounding things up top perhaps could have been hinted at a little in the intro just to get the ears ready for them.

other than that it sounds filthy. you write some dark stuff mate.
