Dark, Deep and moody old skool (slow) Techno from 92-94 PCP

Post by serox » Fri Jan 25, 2008 11:11 am

Dark, Deep and moody old skool (slow) Techno from 92-94 in Germany.

If you like Techno you should check these beats out in this mix. If you dont like Techno I am guessing you have never had the chance to hear this kind of music before. Check it out and I hope you feel it.

Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

I dunno if this is really what most people would call deep techno. it's more like doomcore to me.

dark and deep. It is nearly doom, I guess some records you may say are doom but overall the mix is dark and deep.

did you like it? i didnt like these records much when I first heard them. I now think they are some of the finest techno records made.

I do mix Doomcore also. I will stick a mix up for you guys on here. Doom is much darker. I have made a few dark/doom techno tunes that are on my myspace. I cant help but make dark for some reason.

Thank you! Its more cool that your not even into this kind of music!

Those records are old and very rare. The artist has a massive cult following around Europe that has pushed the prices of records to £50+ and even more in some places.

Pitch-Hiker aka 'The Bassdrum track" is a pcp dancefloor classic. Its a very simple track - just a relentless 4-to-the-floor modulated 909 kickdrum. I've never seen this track fail to get heads nodding and the dancefloor going. The simple beat and 909 sound are both infectious and irresistible. This track is very pure techno. The Cold Rush labels all have the words "Music For Huge Space Arenas" on them - I can't think of a better example of that than Pitch-Hiker.
