Scamy mp3 purchase sites? Advice Needed!

So unfortunate for Noppa Records & Tes Le Rok...
It looks like his EP has been snatched up for fake sale by those illegitimate mp3 purchasing sites like this one:

Where is the real place i can buy this records mp3 versions?
I want to be sure the money is going to the artist & label,
not to some russian scammers!!!

Contact TesLaRok directly about the official MP3's. Most of these sites operate completely illegally, and the moment you submit your credit card info, you can nearly guarantee that it'll be used for illegal charges. Stay far away is the only advice.

I find the fact that the link was edited a bit strange, maybe you should edit out the bit where he tells you how to find the site as well?

It's not some new thing. All dodgy mp3 sites linked directly get edited out. We've been doing this for time.

Whoa whoa whoa dudes! by no means at all am i promoting that site! i think those sites are terrible, sorry for linking it, but i assumed that nobody on this forum would actually be stupid enough to buy from a site like that!

I have e-mailed tes la rok and myspace messaged him about this, and he hasn't replied to either with a source to a legit purchase site yet, and this has been over a month, i really love this tune, and want to buy it.
I don't need the record, i don't have my turntables where i'm living, so the record is useless to me, i couldn't even rip it and listen to it on my computer, i would have to just hang it on the wall and stare at it!

Please? anyone with some constructive feedback here?

Yeah I know, but doesn't it defeat the point when a sentence after he's said all you have to do is type *edited*, front page of links your there? Pff anyway...

No ones saying you're going to buy from the site. It just can't be linked via the forum.

There are literally dozens and dozens of illegal mp3 sites. It's a uphill battle and everyone loses.

Doesn't it defeat the point of having legitimate sites linked via this site? Why is this an issue?

Thanks for the advice, i've tried that though, everytime i click on PM it just takes me back to the root of the forum. I tried logging out and back in again as well. If you wouldn't mind pm'ing him for me with a link to this thread or something, would be very appreciated!

i think what he meant was why take down the link but leave up how he found it through a search engine. it looks like you edited them both now cool.
