Theres a canny thrash revival at the moment like

Gamma bomb
Evile
Municipal Waste
Short Sharp Shock
Toxic Holocaust
I only smoke weed when I need to,
And I need to get some rest,
I confess, I burnt a hole in the mattress,
Yes, yes, it was me, I plead guilty
I cant get no sleep

Been into Metal since like 13.

Maiden still rulz to this day IMO

Even quite listening to electronica, when Metal got really big again a few years ago.

Scored a Jackson and started working on my shredder chops.

Only lasted for about a year, before i got back into scouse, Minimalist etc.

Not sure if Metal can make another come back like it did, would be really cool to see. But i doubt it...

I'm a former metal/punk head and some of my favorite metal bands are

Carcass
Slayer
Sepultura with Max Cavalera
Metallica just till the Black album
Iron Maiden
AC/DC
Creator
Emperor
Cradle of Filth
Opeth
Samael
Morbid Angel
Thyrfing
Melechesh
Celtric Frost
Mayhem
...

and tons of NY HC, punk and metalcore... I played bass in some bands, but now i'm more into reggae, soul and breakbeat music (like dubstep) since 97 or so. I still listen some metal albums a week, but it's minor compared to the rest. It actually just switched position with the rest, cause as metalhead i also went to hiphop, reggae, jungle and rave parties during the mid 90's...

Never buy anything by the Japanese artist TDK. Their CD's contain nothing but silence!
