Cubase SX3 Issues

Post by manray » Mon Feb 25, 2008 8:33 pm

Anyon Zen Cubasers on here?

Just before the 2nd bar on _EVERY_ track i have my cubase has a slight hicup but then carries on as normal. The strange part of this is that it still keeps the timing, you can still mix the beat for example but it seems to spaz out.

Check this example i exported. It happens about half way in.

(btw i just move my tracks forward 8 bars but still i'd like to fix this so my time code is always right when i look down at it)

Mine does the exact same thing.

But when i render, it seems to disapear and goes back to normal.

I always thought it was just my pc.

Im gonna have a good look around to see if i can find out why.

this might work

devices > device setup > vstmultirack > change your driver to full duplex driver then ok...

if its already on full duplex driver change it to multidriver then back again then hit ok.. this usally sorts out any latency problems i have

Never start a track in Cubase on the first bar, always from the second. Because Cubase sends out a signal to all channels when u press play (on the first bar) which causes a slight skip or time delay. So just set your Left locator to bar 2 and right to where ever and always start the track from there.... hope this helps
