Old SLT Mob mix

Post by tomb6000 » Tue May 23, 2006 2:06 pm

Found this 'un while at home this weekend. Don't know if others have it - there's another to come tomorrow with Plastic b2b Mark One with Virus MCing. Can't remember the date on it, but was to celebrate Rephlex's Grime being launched, so figure it out for yourselves.

Hope the link works as I've no fookin clue as to how to use any of these upload things. Also, don't cane the link too hard as I promised Deapoh first refusal on this one.

Def a large one, even tho everyone seems to be a bit confused about whether it's dubstep or grime they're playing.

Is this the SLT set from the first Grime nite @ The End? Big set, I was there for the whole nite and it was pretty decent. The Plastic/Mark1 set is wicked as well.

They always used to be hosted on the Rephlex site for download as well - are they not up any more?

Ah, yea they are:

SLT - http://www.rephlex.com/mp3/SET3-REPHLEX ... HE_END.mp3

Plastician & Virus Syndicate - http://www.rephlex.com/mp3/SET1-REPHLEX ... HE_END.mp3

I was nuts about this set for quite a while! the dubplate.net massive helped me figure out (most of) the tracklist:

slt mob - tinji
horsepower productions
search & destroy - koan (this track needs to be released!!)
slt mob - zombie
???
slt mob - creeky door
slt mob - chainsaw massacre
loefah - jazz lick
???
slt mob - scavenjah
slt mob - stopper
horsepower productions
???
???
???
slt mob - dub weapon
slt mob - blue eyes

hmm. not as complete as I had remembered. that jazzy tune (the first unknown one) is rather choice.

Ah nice one fella, I didn't realise they were still hosted up there. Makes all my sitting around swearing at upload services yesterday seem pretty pointless really.

That was a huge night. It was my first 'live' dubstep experience and was pure filth...especially with the bug and others going sick in the other room...even more variety than your average forward!!!

Can't see why not Deaps, they've been hosted on the Rephlex site since they first went online.

Sick nite tho yeah, Plastic & Mrk 1 were bad, remember gettin lively with Jamie Vex'd when Plastic dropped Pop Pop into the mix.
