haters

Post by amykamala » Mon Mar 17, 2008 3:10 am

it's really easy to get all riled up and lash out at people. to lash out at ourselves, even.

but lets not forget that we are all human here, that nothing and nobody is perfect, that we all feel pain and fear, that we all have things to learn, and that there is no right or wrong in a situation, only perspective and interpretation.

life is really difficult, no doubt. but we can choose to take our challenges and transform them into something from which we can evolve, or we can let them destroy us and consequently everyone else around us.

lets not hate on each other over shit that is ultimately a tiny speck in the grand spectrum of things. so unless someone has set your cat on fire or plowed ur mum with a lawnmower, lets leave the negative vibes at the welcome mat.

k ?

Not saying it's a particularly great thing for society, but we would lose a hell of a lot of good music, comedy, literature and drama if we took hate out of the equation.
Hmm....

yeah exactly.
and i don't know what if there's something that happened on the forum recently that's made you start this thread, but there's a big difference between hate and someone making an insulting thread (especially since a lot of threads that may cause insult don't necessarily have that intention in mind). lots of meaning gets lost on the internet so that what someone thinks is a funny post ends up insulting someone
