I like how he makes a prick of em.
Sasha Baron Cohens character Bruno does the same.

This was actually a pretty good series, remember watching it on Play Uk. A lot of it was him exploring his own prejudices with interesting (athough sometimes cringeworthy results). This one was particularly good though.
Hmm....

Yeah, I actually think he's pretty sound and almost embarrassingly honest at times. Quite liked the first half of the Shame stand up he did before he started going up his own arse with his observations of how he's portrayed in the media.
Hmm....

Russel Brand is a legend. one of the wittiest, most hilarious, surreal, self-aware and (in a strange way) unpretentious people on tv

At worse he is a try-hard, over-exposed clown who dresses like a prick... At best he is what elgato said.

Yeah, exactly. Even on the rare occassions I've watched his BB show, it's a million% better than the shite he's actually commenting on. Also not afraid to be intelligent which is quite a coup these days.
Hmm....

With a lot of the stuff labelled "comedy" on TV these days I find him quite refreshing.

i liked the way the guy sheepishly suggested he was more of a man than russel brand and was obviosly intimidated by the fact russel may have had one or 2 more ladies in his lifetime

Think he's very funny and at times quite subversive which is good to see on mainstream tv. He also seems like the kind of guy you could have very interesting conversation over a pint with.

I read about this in his autobiography, which I shamefully enjoyed. I think he's a bit of a cock, but that's part of his appeal I suppose.

It's pretty funny though.
