then tonight another lad i know seems to want a divorce from his wife. hes 27, and shes 22, been married just shy of 2 years

what the fuck is goin on, are people that stupid to get married so young , if they`re obviously not that sure

it sorta like can cost a lot of money which goes to waste, lot of heart ache etc

whats every1`s views on this

I'm inclined to agree about young marriage, cause most of those marriages are based on lust.

LUST = BAD MARRIAGE M'KAY.

I'll stick with my view of..

"You don't have to sign a piece of paper to say you love someone"

My Aunt and Uncle have been engaged for 20 something years...

They haven't got married because they say.. "We're already in love, why spend money we don't have and sign a piece of paper to prove something we already know..

i don't plan to ever get married. first of all the ONLY reason to is certain legal and tax things... it means nothing else unless u convince yourself it does. changes nothing. second... i don't reckon i'll ever be sure enough that i want to spend forEVER with someone. that's a very long time.

Swear if you're with someone for 2 years+ you get classed as being married?

Helps if the bits of paper aren't injunctions.

the argument being that it's not about a piece of paper.

it's a symbolic act and a way of proclaiming a couple's love for each other.

it's not necessary by any means, especially outside of a religious context,
but it's still a way of declaring and acknowledging love.

it doesnt' change anything but there is an arguement for it. if you're in love why wouldn't you want to legally tie yourself to this person.

as for divorce and young marriage - i don't think it's especially to do with age.

at any one time you can only ever think you're in love, or at least know it as much as possible. what's to say it could never be superseded by something greater, more intense? nothing. but you have to believe in what you feel at the time and act on that whether that means marriage, co-habitation or whatever.
