South Park Thread

Post by corpsey » Thu Apr 03, 2008 10:38 am

The latest season has been very very iffy but some great episodes still. Thought the last one, about cheesing off cats was one of the best ones in absolutely ages. Gerald really stepped into Randy's shoes when he wrestled kenny in the sandpit in his pants.

I'm just downloading the latest one, looks like its an all terrance and philip themed thing but hopefully it won't be too shite.

I saw the Britney Spears episode the other day. It was pretty weird but made a damn good point, in it's usual quirky way.

'Scott Tennerman Must Die' is one of the funniest episodes of S.P. Cartman is an evil genius.

Havent seen any of this season, but the season one with the time travel epsiodes was off the hook, so well done.

And yes, Scott Tennerman Must Die is a classic.

It's on episode 4 of Season 12 now

First episode was the aids one, which was alright but nothing special. Second one was the Britney Spears one which was one of the least funny South Park episodes ever, although made quite a powerful/valid satirical point. The third episode was Major Boobage, which wasn't really satirical at all but just full of stupid toilet humour and silly voices which made it IMO the best episode of the season and maybe of the last few seasons.

And this one is 'Canada on Strike'

Get to know

I am, just havent had cable and really havent gotten into watching shows on the internet yet... this will change that though, didnt realize I could catch the fresh ones.

We used to have a SP night at my house back in the day, beer, buds and towlie impresions all night.

"Towlie, you're the worst character ever"

"Yeah, I know..."

That's it, that's the melody to funky town.

'Wont you take me down, to funky town'

Scot Tennerman was indeed on for history books, but let's not forget other gems like:

- The Jlo handpuppet episode (taco taco, burrito burrito)
- Giant Douche and Turd Sandwich (vote or die motherfucker)
- Casa Bonita
- The ninja episode with the cut to butters catching some eyeball shuriken action
- the list goes on and on and on

Yeah, that one is hilarious... when his nose falls off and he starts chasing them around! Jokes!

One of my personal favs is the Hippie Infestation one, when Cartman saves the town from the jam band festival by playing Slayer. Classic. The whole scene when they're drilling into the crowd kills me everytime.
