atm i'm living proof that's possible, we got over eachother big time, and we're really good friends, don't see the problem.
But it depends on the ones involved really and why they broke-up, that's why some people can and some don't. But you should never generalize and say it's impossibe, because it isn't. Francly, I never understood people who CAN'T remain friends with their ex after they've broke up from a non-serious issue.

yeah it is possible
me and my ex see each other all the time - in fact im going to see her in a few hours to hang out with her at the tattoo studio where she works.
we have a good laugh and we know each other so well, we are like best mates. the split was tough but mutual, we both knew it was the end of the relationship and we decided to just be friends.
i guess it depends on the style of the breakup whether you stay friends

still friends with my last ex, and i'm fine with her new boyfriend and everything. my ex before that is another story. when i went to manchester last time with fofo and datura she was at the club and i was told by my/her friends to just pretend she wasn't there and she was told likewis,e which is ridiculous.... saved drama though i suppose, and there would have been drama because she hates my guts. even though i'm the one who should be doing the hating really. bah she's such a prik

still in touch and mates with some of the safe ones, u know them situations where you'd be better off mates, but went through the relationship thing first before u realised that...
as for the girls that went a bit mad (lets be honest alot of them do), air pie them, not worth the hassle, past is past, leave it there...

x 4 ... there's a lot to be said for taking time to let the relationship fade and the friendship grow, naturally. i get on well and remain friends with both of my long term exes.Gena wrote:x3 ...frebentos wrote:x2horse wrote:yeah it is possible

but its a right mission.am pleased ive made the effort, goin to her dad's 50th after we split up, goin out every so often for a drink and a catch up - stuff like that.
does depend on the people involved, how long you were together, circumstances and most importantly - honesty/communication.
i'm not quite sure what to make of thatCorpsey wrote:I guess it IS possible, but you'd have to have a LOT of sellotape
