No luck on the dubstep tip out there, but they do like to party big time. Lots of unusual clubs, but mostly what i'd call "euro house" played.

The whole country, especially Beirut, is still recovering from the short war in 2006. The isreali's really fucked the place up.

Be warned though, it can still get a bit hairy out there. I ended up haviong to stay there for an extra week while fighting broke out between Hizbollah and the pro-government forces. Once shit like that happens, all normality goes right out the window!

Seeing as the area is highly excited at the moment, can i ask why you're going??

I reckon you should be able to find someone selling some in Beirut.

Good luck!
