sadly, i won't be reaching, but i thought i'd get the ball rolling.
people be askin me 'bout it and i thought a post with all pertinent info
was in order. namely, what's up with the soundsystem?
who's reaching? i have some friends coming down from sacramentoz.

There's THIS THREAD.

My understanding:

The venue is Club Anu.
The system is sounding nice. It's better than the old place -- Nickies.
The drinks are real strong...
There's no cover.
The venue holds approx 200 people. Maybe a few more than that...
Get there early....

fer reals.. this place is swank.
nice dancefloor.. classy vibe.. killer drinks ..( all about them infused vodkas),
Sound system is safe.. I tried to have it re-enforced but no-dice thanks to wiring limitations..
believe u should get there early.. we dun start till 10pm .. but as it's free all night get in early get ur spot and drinks .. get to stretching ready for that skanking to begin..

Anu is one of the biggest clubs on the west coast for the sounds of progressive and house. If that is your thing, check it out some other time as well--they have a constant lineup of some of the best house dj/producers in the game. Sound is absolutely sick. It's not DMZ, but nothing is.

East coast, but I made a trip out that way and caught James Zabiela and Paolo Mojo. Great place.
