Someone with a decent sound set up! <read please>

Post by legend4ry » Sat May 10, 2008 1:34 pm

I'm working on a tune at the moment with really deep sub bass and I produce on a realllllllly shit set up, I mean I got a nice PC, decent Midi keyboard and decent software but all I have is headphones and hi-fi speakers so I'm doing everything by eye on a spectrum and I am still pretty new to that so I can't really tell!

So anyone with monitors and a sub give me some feedback on this tune, I don't want it to sound to muddy!

While we're at it.. Is there a half-decent pair of monitors/sub I can get for around.. 150? I'm a student, money is a big issue D:. I don't want nothing to amazing I mean as long as the sounds clean.

I'm listenin on some HD25 headphones and the bass sounds alright, seriously deep. I'd say maybe turn the sub up a tad, then again it would probably sound alright on a big system.

Nice tune tho :)

I just took a listen. Sounds hollow and thin. The sub comes across deep and clear but the mix is mostly upper mids and highs. There isn't much off a bottom end going on.

Cheers guys, yeah I'm still working on it, just I was so unsure about the sub! So turn it up a tad and it will be well, not perfect but better!?

Cheers o/

Much appreciated
