http://www.freedubs.org
To quote from the site:
FREEDUBS IS A SITE CREATED TO HELP THE DUBSTEP COMMUNITY LEGALLY SHARE MUSIC. FREEDUBS PROVIDES FREE HOSTING AND MANAGEMENT OF FORUM DUBS - TRACKS CREATED BY PRODUCERS AND GIVEN OUT FOR FREE ON THE DUBSTEP FORUM.
FREEDUBS IS NOT SPECIFIC TO DUBSTEP, BUT IS PROVIDED AS A FREE SERVICE TO THE DUBSTEP COMMUNITY.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO DOWNLOAD TRACKS, BUT YOU MUST CREATE AN ACCOUNT IF YOU WISH TO UPLOAD TRACKS. ANYONE CAN CREATE AN ACCOUNT, BUT YOU MUST FIRST BE A USER OF THE DUBSTEP FORUM TO DO SO.
FREEDUBS ALLOWS USERS TO DIRECTLY LINK TO TRACKS (WITHOUT REQUIRING USERS TO 'CLICK THROUGH' A PAGE), AND ALLOWS PRODUCERS TO TRACK THE POPULARITY OF THEIR TRACKS. FREEDUBS DOES NOT FORCE PRODUCERS TO MAKE TRACKS PUBLIC, AND ALLOWS USERS TO MARK DUBS AS PRIVATE. ANY DUBS NOT MARKED AS PRIVATE ARE LISTED FOR ALL TO SEE!
FREEDUBS INSISTS ON 320KBS CBR MP3S!
EDIT: Now open for registration!
This is a new site, which probably has a few bugs in it. If you notice any, or if you've got any ideas for features you think should be added (not matter how big or small), please let me know!
Finally, the page layout at the moment is a little crap, in my oppinion! If you think you could do better and would like to lend a hand, let me know

.

Oh, it's also maybe worth noting that anyone who'd be up for testing the site out can of course link to any files they upload.

Hmm, im in a slight dilemma:
Those 3 tracks i linked you on my myspace could do with some proper mixing, but if you'd like I could put them up as 'unmixed' for now?
Up to you matey.

I'm going to open it fully now, ten bag has been giving it a bit of a test and everything seems to be working well for him.
You can now access the registration page!
EDIT: big up ten bag for helping test everything!

right, it seems there was a little bug in the sign-up code, which should now be fixed.
I'd suggest that anyone who has tried and failed to sign up now try again, and pm me if there are any more problems.

hehe, oh dear

.
The text is largely written in two grey shades, but I didn't find it too hard to read. Does anyone else have issues reading it? I'd be very open to trying other designs, if anyone has ideas?

Yeah. Bad colors. The two greys are too close in shade to be clear, and that pink just looks like a blur with lower font size.
Hot idea though! woop woop.

But that speed

I got 1.7mbps and downloaded the file in like 3 seconds
TBH, Anything thats more than 200kb/s a second is quick for a free upload service.
Also, its nice to see someone using python rather than php/asp

Hmm, it could really all do with a redesign. Sadly, while I'm a pretty good programmer, I suck at CSS/HTML.
If anyone thinks they can do better, I'd be happy to provide them with the current HTML templates, and they can modify as they see fit!
I'm pretty open to new ideas!
