Preferred the intro to the main body of the tune, not mad keen on the higher synth restating the melody line, like the industrial element and that distorted reverb effect. Sounds kind of illbient definitely erring more towards the hip hop sound. Listenng to it a a bit quiet but couldn't pick out the bass much either.

i agree, there isn't any half step, at 70ush bpm it could be doom metal!

I would use the hats in a 140bpm pattern to create a groove.

but I'm loving the filtered distortion.
