Help With Song Making/Editing

Post by clownsteppa » Tue Jun 17, 2008 4:53 pm

Ok so I am currently making music using just absynth 4. I record what I want and then I want to kind of layer what Ive recorded if that makes sense.

I record a bassline then save it. I then record maybe a synth line. then whack some sub bass in there.

But what I want to know, is am I making things to hard, and what program should I use to "put" all my recordings together (btw i've tried using audacity but found it hard to get things to line up)

Thanks

Reaper..... free, easy, excellent features, excellent support etc etc reh reh reh...!

Cop yourself a copy instantly from http://www.cockos.com/reaper/download.php!!!

One benefit of Reaper is that you can use Absynth as a VST plugin while having your previous .wav's loaded into the sequencer track at the same time...

Others may also point you in the direction of 'audio trackers', although I don't really know much about them so you'll need to google them...
