Vocal filters/destruction

Hey peeps

i have some audio samples that i want to trash up and make dirty/grungy

can you guys recommend some filters or plugins?

Maybe even some bog standard techniques which could help out

using reason but i have cubase also

^ 3 vst's that come to mind. I can't be fucked to find links but google and they should come up instantly.

One thing I do with vocal audio is slow it down so it's at 200% and then add the vst bitcrusher. stick an envelope on the sample so that it goes from 0 at the start and 40 at the end on the downgrade scale.

visit KVRaudio.com and search thier database for destortion plugins. There are plenty of free options out there ;)

Lo-fi is pretty good I feel :D

reason has some good stutter effect patches and other you can mess about with in conjuction to a scream 4 with some lofi distortion
