Novi Sad (Serbia):EXIT FESTIVAL (Benga&Skream): July 11t
I know we encourage positivism here, but thats no reason to stay quiet about things which i consider to be horrid.
Skream & Benga played a terrible chopped up set for the GREAT exit crowd, on a relatively massive sound system. At some point they got 20 slutty girls to dance on the stage and who knows what later. The whole thing was embarrassing.
I just dont like this whole thing that they are pushing. I am not saying that making our music a wee bit commercial is bad, i am saying that these guys are just doing it in a really bad way.
Thumbs down, Skream&Benga
...................................................
On a happier note, Dubway played a great set at a different stage, and he really got the crowd moving.
Go Dubway!

i thought it was fucking brilliant, proper vibes throughout and i was well happy to see dubstep going over so well on such a massive stage, and outside of the UK or other place you'd expect dubstep to be big.
everyone on stage seemed to be loving it as much as the crowd. you must be a real miserable bastard to be so negative about it.

Guys.
From the couple of hundreds of people who were there i was the only one who thought it would be good to comment on it negatively.
So yes, I am a negative bastard i guess.
Skream, sorry dude, nothing personal, i just didnt like it! I, for example, loved your rotterdam set, and your DMZ3 set, and i, well, ofcourse, love your tunes and mixing, but this set... i dont think so.
But the whole girls thing was simply too much to handle.
However, the croud loved it, and personally, i loved hearing dubstep go so big on the main stage, but honestly, i think it came off so... icky. (is that a word?)

there were undercover cops here and there.pk wrote:our music
i'd quite like to go to exit next year. is it outrageously difficult to buy naughties there? heard some mental stories about undercover plods
However, undercover cops are still cops, and they look like cops and theyre never having fun and theyre always, well almost always, bald.
Theyre so visible, that they cant even count as undercover.

How much time have you spent thinking about your signature?

Apparently this year some guy got pinched with pills on him and was put in a cell with murderers, rapists etc. They stripped off and were about to gang bang him but he started crying and was sick in the corner so they let him out.pk wrote:our music

Pure forum fact there.
I remember when Ghostface got loads of girls dancing on stage with him in Nottingham once. I could see by that twinkle in his eye that a lot of them would be buried in Sherwood Forest that night.
there's even a bit of interpretive robot going down
i'm takin this show on the road.
