Kode9 appreciation

Post by utopian » Sat Jul 19, 2008 2:47 am

He has a way of going about tunes that seems to make his creations defy the cut-and-paste template feel of a lot of the genre, and make you look at the tracks just as music, rather than specifically dubstep.

I agree!!!!

Totally blown away last week in Sf

Best set ever!!!!!

The feeling I got from his set reminded me of the feeling I got when I first heard Orbital In-Sides. Layers and layers of deep music.

I'm have know idea how many tunes of his set were his own productions, but they were fucking sick, nonetheless

Smoke 'em if ya got em

best dj in the scene hands down. doesnt even matter that his mixing isnt always the tightest, tune selection is unreal.

best label in the scene, perhaps on a par with DMZ.

AND hes made some amazing music as well, hes probably one of the only reasons i still keep a close eye on dubstep.

He's not dead... i hope... :o

The guy is just so multitalented, his music is amazing, he is easily one of the most entertaining djs in dubstep and hyperdub is such a brilliant label.
