Any super heavy dark dub tips?

Post by side » Thu Jun 29, 2006 7:32 pm

I am a bass addicted person and I want you to recommend me some really heavy dark dub stuff (not dubstep) Old or new, I do not care. I need names, albums, tracks,anything....I just want to go deeper to roots.
Thanks

old:
Scientist - Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires
King Tubby - King of Dub
King Tubby Meet Vivian Jackson (Yabby You)

loads of killer Tubby dubs on the Yabby You collection, Jesus Dread 1972-1977, along with DJ versions. Check 'Freshly' by Dillinger.

'A Rougher Version' from collection King Tubby's Special 1973-1976.

i recommend everything by VIBRONICS. they're my favourite uk dub outfit. check out their "dubliftment" album on universal egg, as well the stuff on their own "scoops" label and of course the 7inches on deep root.

recommended dubwise online-shops:
Dub Flash: http://www.dubflash.com
Music Rebel: http://www.rockersuptown.de/catalog/
Roots Messenger: http://www.rootsmessenger.de
