might want to try boxcutter's albums. Recommend glyphic.
Cyrus - In The Shadows: not ambient in many respects but dark and brooding and very very good.
2562's album Aerials you might enjoy.
Kode 9 and Spaceape's Memories of the Future
Pinch- Underwater Dancehall is quite ambient and does exactly what it says on the tin. Very good.

Try some of these and see what you think.

Pangaea's track Routed and hessle audio records in general.

if you like burial check out Pole....the resemblence is pretty close on some of the crackley-er tracks.

i just cant get enough of the creepy stuff at the minute.
im quite philosophical when it comes to sound experiences and if you open your mind up to some of these kinda tracks it can really spark strange chains of emotions
at least it does with me... :o

I have not heard much of his stuff tbh and I was given some of his tracks a while back when I was asking for darker stuff also.
