REGGAE ROAST SUMMER BBQ

The Big Chill House : 257 Pentonville Rd, Kings Cross, N1 9NL

This month sees the return of Reggae Roast to the Big Chill House on Saturday 16th August. After the huge success of the May bank holiday session, we have put together an exciting line-up for another classic all day/all night summer BBQ event. As well as a fantastic collection of live music we will also be serving up a selection of great food and drinks on the newly fitted roof terrace BBQ and bar.

This month, Brother Culture will be performing an exclusive live PA featuring tracks from his new album “ISIS” as well as his dancehall smash hit single “ING”. Brother Culture has over 30 years of experience, MCing for some of the greatest sound systems across the world including Zion Train and Adrian Sherwood's On U Sound to name a few.

Alongside Brother Culture, we have also arranged an exclusive roots reggae and dubstep set from the infamous DJ Nonames of the mighty Foreign Beggars. Nonames has taken time out of his busy festival schedule with Foreign Beggars to come and showcase his world-renowned turntableism skills, which are guaranteed to nice up the dance.

Resident selectors Exel, Moodie, Louis Slipperz, Joe Lickshot and BustaWideMove will be playing their usual mix of Roots, Dub, Ska and Dancehall hosted by Daddy Chester, alongside special guest roots singer Ramon Judah.

This is set to be another brilliant all day event, with positive vibes throughout, showcasing some of the UK’s hottest talents. Doors open at midday, so arrive early to secure a place on the terrace as the last Reggae Roast reached maximum capacity by 6pm.

**The roof terrace BBQ chefs will be serving Jerk Chicken with a choice of 3 rum cocktails for only £7 between 2pm and 7pm**
