dub/step/electro/nica/techno mix

Post by casino addict » Tue Jul 04, 2006 10:58 pm

Bit all over the shop this... but did a mix the other week with the tunes I've bought over the last month or two. Couple of things I'm not sure I should have included, but it's got some fun moments. If minimal techno does your swede, cut to about 25 minutes in.

DATATHIEF 'Advanced Vocal Engineering' (Beta Bodega/Mass Transit)
MANASYT 'Untitled' (Bunker)
ANTHONY ROTHER 'Destroy Him My Robots' (Electrolux)
DREXCIYA 'Living On The Edge (Instrumental)' (Submerge)
DIGITAL MYSTIKZ 'Walkin' With Jah' (Soul Jazz)
DAVE TARRIDA 'Limbo Bobo' (Input Output)
WILEY 'Flat Derik' (Dump Valve)
SOLIEB 'Love Song' (Maschine)
ANNA KAUFEN 'Jumping Jack Trash' (A Touch of Class)
BITSTREAM 'Incubator' (Signal)
MATT JOHN 'The Rising Scope' (Perlon)
JEFF MILLS 'i9' (Axis)
BENNY ILL VS DJ HATCHA 'Highland Spring' (Tempa)
MENTA 'Snake Charmer' (Road)
PINCH 'Qawalli' (Planet Mu)
CURVE 'Falling Free (Aphex Twin Mix)' (Anxious)
HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER VS GOLDSPOT 'Sholay' (Tempa)
GEIOM 'Overnight Biscuits' (Berkane Sol)
PLANETARY ASSUALT SYSTEMS 'Function 4' (Peacefrog)
TIMEBLIND 'Flesh Wound' (Soot)
DISTANCE 'Cyclops' (Planet Mu)
TIMEBLIND 'Copy Copy' (Soot)
KIT CLAYTON 'Nele' (~scape)
EL-B FEAT. JUICEMAN 'Buck + Bury' (Ghost)
PEST 'Now Panic' (Panic Bridge)
SUB DUB 'Tag 1' (The Agriculture)
SUB DUB 'Witchcraft' (The Agriculture)
SCUBA 'Plate' (Hot Flush)
SUB DUB 'Sound Check' (The Agriculture)
WONDER 'What (Geeneus Mix)' (Dump Valve)
VARIOUS PRODUCTION 'Hater' (Various Production)
ELEMENTAL 'Sparkle' (Hot Flush)
DROP THE LIME 'Brooklyn Skank' (Ruff)
HEADHUNTER 'Seventh Curse' (Ascension)
SHACKLETON 'Blood On My Hands' (Skull Disco)
STEWART WALKER 'Start Point' (Tresor)

Glad some folk are enjoying this. Some more mixes on a similar vein (though with less of a techno element) here: http://spannered.org/mixes/uberdog - the one from September last year probably being the pick of the bunch.

wow...i REALLY like what you are doing with these mixes. creative, thoughtful composition and great tunes. seriously some of the most diverse, interesting mixes i have heard in a long time (and believe me, i am a picky shit when it comes to dj mixes).

big ups! i can't get enough of these, man...

p.s. saw some greg shiff in there too! former indiana boy makes good! w00t!
