NEW LABEL - LOOKING FOR FINISHED QUALITY DUBSTEP RELEASED

Post by deckgeneral » Thu Aug 07, 2008 9:49 pm

We are a new label, with worldwide digital distribution in place looking for Dubstep Producers with mastered finished material.

We are up to DSD007 on the label and are building a healthy stable of producers, whom we hope to release albums for, we also have remix opportunities among our artists.

The website is very new and still under construction but it will give you an idea www.dubstepdigital.co.uk better still go to:

http://www.junodownload.com/labels/Dubs ... /releases/

Juno is one of our distributors.

Soon we will have an artists page to accept your material for possible release.

Peace

Tim

if a artist is gonna pay to get a tune mastered, why wouldnt they just put it up on juno or any other download site themselves... ?

not knocking the hustle, but if you are serious you might wanna think about exercising some quality control, scout for some fresh new artists, and have somebody mix and master the tunes you put out & develop a "sound" for your label....

If you check juno you will notice we are building a stable of new artists, what we were trying to impress on people was that we didnt want demo's for the album.

Most artists havent got the distribution power that i have, with a digital label, i can get stuff into HMV and I-Tunes, and i achieved Top 60 hits with underground distribution of Drum and Bass back in the day. and indeed with house classics like strings of life on the label i managed, which sold 30,000 a week when first released in 1988 and still didnt hit the Top 40

So i think i know what i am talking about.
