4pm – 3am

11 Hours, 3 Dance floors + Vibe Bar courtyard, 5 Live acts, 25 DJ's and a BBQ in the heart of Brick Lane.

Deviate and Reggae Roast have teamed up to bring you an awesome line up of quality DJs and Live acts to entertain you from daylight to darkness. We begin at noon with a selection of DJs spinning an eclectic summer soundtrack in the courtyard with BBQs blazing and live graffiti murals throughout the afternoon. 'Brass Roots', the 9-piece brass band, will also be entertaining the courtyard, tooting a selection of classic covers, from Marvin Gaye to Amy Winehouse.

As the sun begins to set, the three indoor dance floor areas will come alive. Each DJ has been hand picked to cover a range of musical styles including: Roots Reggae, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, Minimal, Dubstep, Tech House and much more.

Headliners:

Bass Clef – “The crossroad between Burial, Vex'd, and Aphex Twin”. Bass Clef has been rolling out digi-dub-dancehall instrumentals all over the world with an eclectic selection of instruments, bleeps and bass tones. Bass Clef on the buttons means all soles on the floor with no prisoners. After catching Mr Bass Clef’s epic set at Sonar Festival 2008 we’ve had to book him for London, Brighton and Newcastle. Dirt, grime and talent rolled into one. A rising star for 2008 like no other. http://www.myspace.com/bassclefbass

DJ Derek – The legendary 66 yr old Bristonion selector whose blend of reggae, dub and ska has made him an icon for the industry, having worked with a host of Jamaican producers as well as Massive Attack. If you don’t know then re-arrange your reggae knowledge quick! This old timer has been smashing dances for over 30yrs with a record collection that’d make any reggae fan straight cream their sandals. Dude’s so old school we had to ring his yard phone to book him and he hasn’t even got a myspace…veteran!
