digging the vibe. good track for getting people to raise those knees, as joe nice might put it. the upbeat hat, i want to be wetter and further in the mix. rest of the mix sounds solid.

Dunno, think it needs more bongos

Nice and spacious sounding, love the swooping wobble-bass

Given this one a couple of listens....

Builds up nicely, good samples and good conga beat. The ragga chords work well. The breakdown is good but maybe lose some of the hi hat maybe for the last 4 bars or 8 even....

Excellent bass sound altho i'm not too sure on the modulator bit and the higher note....maybe if you cvould vary it between a minimal bass and the rolling one and the modulator used sparingly (maybe only at the end of a 32 bar phrase?)...Nice developments, and the congas keep providing a good rhythm...it does sound like some basses are layered on each other however i couldn't hear this at the end when it was just bass....something still sounds clashing or strange down there at times.

The beat is nice too and i like the chilled switch section with the vst note....good variation....nice hi hats as well, keep the pulse going! this sectiuon is quite long tho...maybe could be a bit shorter to keep the interest...and don't like bass in the outro.....makes the tune sound dry with no atmos under and is a bit irrelent imo...#

good work! Will look forward to the finished article....

Marty DiBergi: "This tasteless cover is a good indication of the lack of musical invention within. The musical growth of this band cannot even be charted. They are treading water in a sea of retarded sexuality and bad poetry."
Nigel Tufnel: That's just nitpicking, isn't it?

See

cheers bro it's nice to have a good honest critique of a tune no arse licking required, yeah its only a tune in the first stages once i can get some time i'm gonna work on it there are a couple of notes that class in the bass i think due to my utter laziness in not sorting it out (man needs a good sleep before work) but i like to put ideas out and let people have a listen rather than sitting on things and never getting them finished through frustration on my part. i think you should probably ignore the outro as it needs work

Its good for a first mix/version. The bass wobble. Is it two keys next to each other to give that mod or is it modulated? I reckon it's two keys DnB style. The bass as a whole is very envelope to pitch. I like that and use it all the time in dnb tracks, perhaps too much, but whooo i love it. I kind of liked the outro though even if it not finished. I would say bring the kick up or mix it with a kick that has a sharper attack/punch if you want. Hi hats seem fine to me. Snare, i might also add something a little more crisp, but it sound right though. Good all in all. LICK LICK LICK :D
