Exodus : Outlook Fest 08'

Post by headhunter » Tue Sep 02, 2008 3:05 pm

Its worth its own topic so it dont get lost, but few ppl are aware of the work that went into running the outlook festival and one of the main men was Simon Scott / Exodus. He deserves a massive biggup for sorting this as do all the other people who helped organize it.
I have to say it was one of the best weekends ive had this year, if you missed it u missed something pretty dam special. The amount of good people i met is is uncountable. And the location and the vibe was second to none.

Im sure there will be a bunch of fotos that will follow soon. Highlight for me was Joe Peng & rsd and me & ramadanman playing main stage at sunset, that was a lot. Not many aware of who joe peng is but if you do, u know!

we need it again next year.

Unfortunately I couldn't make it due to money problems, but big up Si for helping to organise it. I've seen some photos already, looks like a beautiful setting for some bass weight!

unbelievable venue, amazing vibes. The sound the entire time, i thought, was great.

Too many highlights; the boat with quest and silkie, mala and pokes was amazing and partying on a boat at sea was a surreal experience, RSD on the main stage was excellent and Appleblims set on the Sunday made my weekend, exactly what i wanted to hear in such a brilliant surrounding.

Out to everyone who put the hard work in to make this party a success. Someone mentioned to me that the owners of the complex didnt want Outlook back due to the noise complaints three miles away, i sincerly hope that its complete rumour and conjecture so this party can be done again.

absolutely massive, just got back from the 35 hour return "party" bus journey

anyways on behalf of the vagabondz fam massive thanks goes out to si (running around like a madman doing the set times every day can't have been fun) and to everyone that came down and made outlook such an absolute banger of a weekend - apart from some inevitable teething problems the atmosphere and the sheer quality of the artists made it something i'm sure everyone there will always remember. we are definitely keen on doing it again next year (although might not be in the same location) so make sure you keep an eye out for promotional material over the coming months as we're expecting an even bigger party in 2009...

p.s. large up to everyone that came and saw my band, gentleman's dub club for the first time, was definitely my favourite hour of the weekend!

The festival location was excellent and the vibe was so good! Highlight for me was Appleblim’s set on Sunday. And I was happy I could play a set on that massive Funktion One soundsystem in the club. I’ve uploaded a few pictures on my myspace, but they aren’t looking very professional :)

Big up Exodus!

I'm slightly jealous and kicking myself, not even a sniff of summer in this country yet.

next level vibes. the sun, the sea and the sub was perfect. Shouts go out to all the vagabondz crew, the new bohemia lads and of course Simon. Best festival I've ever been to, it was worth the long trip on the coach. Hope everyone got back ok
