Futureproof - 2nd Birthday

Saturday 18th October
@ Blueprint, Alfreton Road, Nottingham
10-3
£6

Room 1
Peverelist (Punch Drunk/Tectonic/~Scape)
Pangaea (Hessle Audio)
Spam Chop vs. Metaphi - LIVE (Wigflex)
Brackles (Berkane Sol/Pollen/Futureproof)

Room 2 - uncharted|audio| showcase
Cyan341 – LIVE
Line – LIVE
Kone-R
Bizmarc (Futureproof)

Futureproof celebrates turning the grand-old-age of two with the much-anticipated return of Punch Drunk label boss, Peverelist. Peverelist’s unique production style combines rolling technoid beats and shimmering synth lines with rootsy Bristol dub.

He is joined by cult label Hessle Audio’s Pangaea whose future garage music draws on the warm qualities of house and merges dark minimal dubstep with intricate steppy rhythms.

Wigflex heads Spam Chop and Metaphi also premier their brand new live set in the main room at Futureproof. Expect grimey, glitchy, bass-driven techno with lots of crunch!

London’s ‘Uncharted Audio’ take over room two for a label-showcase featuring a live set from latest signing Cyan341 whose sound is a weaving together of Berlin minimalism and the deeper, funkier techno of Detroit. Accompanied by a live set from lo-fi electro auteur Line and DJ support from label boss Kone-R whose infamous sets mix together techno, breakbeat and lots of low frequency oscillations all in the spirit of rave…

BIG IN THE FACE

This time I'm going to sellotape my eyebrows to my head before the after party to avoid distress.

Think there's a few people travelling up for this one. Let us know if you decide to come and we'll sort you out with directions, point you to the afterparties and wotnot :)

Funktion 1 sound now confirmed for room 2 as well!
