As a Techno fan at heart I am always up for hearing people mixing Techno with Dubstep so had to check this.

Sorry but I have to say this is not what I call Techno. More like commercial House tbh.

I did like some of the Dubstep tunes, good feel. I think Dusbtep is better off keeping away from that House music tho.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

commercial house!! no theres no "commercial house" in this?? the mihalis safras tracks are the techno i refer to. It's more related to minimal techno. techno isnt just jeff mills and dave clarke you know. anyway lets not get into a genre debate. Actually i am going to name this mix This Is Not What I Call Techno vol 1.

i liked this bit tho "better off keeping away from that House music tho", oh that terrible house music!! Fair play if you don't like it mind i appreciate the listen, ain't gonna please everyone when you're mixing genres

This mix is heavy, particularly like the opening, the RSMD/Epileptic mix and the Bury the Boy tease.

I just dont think they go well together. I dont really like this new style House music tho tbh.

It doesnt have to be Mills or Clarke to be Techno.

That Claude Von Stroke track is straight up new style House.

If you are going to quote me get it right. I said "I did like some of the Dubstep tunes, good feel. I think Dusbtep is better off keeping away from that House music tho."

i agree von stroke is more house. Far beyond commercial type pacha house which is what i felt you referred to. Safras is more techno though which is what i was thinking of. Anyway who cares man i'm just playing music i love, not claiming to be the defining techno dj. Fair play if you don't like it! That quote just made me laugh how you said 'that house music, ' thats all, not about its fusion with dubstep.

I have a pet hate for new style House like that:) did not mean to sound like a prick.
