bloopt_funk is the coming together of 2 people - Local DJ and producer Graham Fletcher (bleep funk) and Matt Sever (loopt) who both share a love for electronic music and a strong opinion that this kind of music is under-represented or not given a big enough platform in the berkshire area. Bloopt_funk will bring to Newbury upcoming electronic artists and DJ's who have recently gigged in places as far afield as Berlin, Paris and Russia . The event also supports a very worthy cause close to their hearts - raising funds for Oxfords Children’s Hospital Campaign. for more info on the charity please click on the following link http://www.chox.org.uk/. Graham's son has recently undergone surgery there and it is the hospital that all local children in the Berkshire area and further afield would be referred to if in need of specialist medical attention so its well worth supporting..

all we ask is that on the day you bring yourself, your friends, family, kids, your gran .... anyone, a happy attitude and a desire to party! and of course some change for a well deserving cause!! suncream is probably good idea as it’s not a very shaded area. Face painting activities will be provided for children at a cost of £1 going towards the Charity.
