I could do with a bit of advice, i like the tune overall but I don't have much experience in mixing and EQ'ing and the like.
Can anyone give me some advice?

running out of samples??? no chance, your just not looking in the right places, when you watch a film, dont watch it to enjoy it, watch it in sample mode. i cant watch anything on the telly anymore with out summing up everything as a possible sample

Non sense. Dubstep producers just tend to find the most obvious samples possible. If you want to make generic sounding shite, that is acceptable.

movie lines and stuff like that is kinda cliche anyway. a good number of tracks do it correctly, but almost twice as many don't sound right to me..
one of my favorite tunes, still, is distance's 'night vision'
that is the correct way, imho

i had this to so now im gona w8 till i have somthink good untill posting.
song is good tho like the feel. iv only just started making dubstep to so dont take my word as "the word of god" gust give it a try, i know what its like to want feedback

.
you could try and BPF the flute part might make it more spacy. i like to make all the little drum and melody drops/brakedowns bit realy "in you face" seems to make my songs sound like thay have more bits to them.
hope thats not all just a wast of ur time.

seems like alot of producers use the same raggae sample pack, signed and unsigned, also the 'shotta's movie sample pack aswell.
aswell as the above i've started sampling things that the music is about or come from, quite literally, discussions/interviews on modular synthesis, computer technology, dsp. It always seems relevant and apt.

Yeh pretty cool idea, I was thinking of maybe sampling from some older films like maybe La Haine or something
The reason I used samples from the Dub Wise collection was it was the first sample pack I came across and I just dived right in hahah
I made the track in the middle of the night, it just kinda reminds me of manchester town centre in the middle of the night when theres no one about

I need to go on some sample spree, for like nice little vocal bits
I really wanna produce a track with some vocals so I can get some experience, need to work on my drums though and synthesis
