recommend me a soundcard

Post by oldskl » Fri Oct 03, 2008 5:26 pm

I've got about £200 max for a soundcard, which I really need as my current one is onboard. Though I don't really know anything about em so anyone with knowledge recommend me one? I've been looking at this one

http://www.dv247.com/invt/33410/

Though I dunno if its any good im just thinking you get what you pay for.

I would like TRS outputs as well for my RP5s

E-MU 1212m.
The patchmix software can be a bitch at the beginning but great soundcard anyway.

I've got an audiofire2 and it works great. It worked right out of the box. I just installed the console off of the cd and that's it. For $199 USD I think it's great. I'm using it on OS X (10.5.1) with logic and soundforge going through crossover with no problems at all. I can't compare it to earlier lines as this is the only one I've owned. This one is very nice though.
