Logic7/ AMT 8/ OSX? Help.

I've not been using logic 7 on OSX due to me not being able to set up my AMT 8 midi patchbay.Logic 7 does not want to recognise any hardware plugged in the the amt8 or the amt8 it's self. I also need the drivers for the amt8 as i've lost the disk the came on. Can any one help. If not i'll just use logic 4.7 on os9. :(
