why bother with presets, you have the synth man, USE IT, or learn to use it

massive is an extremely popular synth, especially within this site it seems, do a search and you will find plenty of useful threads on how to get the most out of it im sure, even youtube could be good for it too. i dont use massive so i dunno

and with it being so popular, do you really want to use presets, or do you want to learn the synth inside out to find how to get your own twist out of it?

^ This!

I only know the basic of synthesis, but massive is pretty easy to use and experiment with, easy to produce some great sounds!

yeah, massive is an easy synth, just learn the basics and experiment from there, watch a tutorial video on youtube to learn the first couple things you need to know about it

you can even find wobble tutorials on youtube that you can modify to be your own sound

using nothing but presets will never help you learn, but i suggest you learn every preset you love in and out, that way you know how to make it and can make other sounds like it

Yer , I've made my own sounds in Massive too.....I used the presets as starting points and most of the sounds turned into different ones anyway.....they were just QUICKER starting points

Exactly that, when your in the zone milliseconds are tons of gold dust being blown away in to the atmosphere, before you even have a chance to evaluate what atmosphere your in.....

something like that...

Massive is like the easiest synth to work out to do wobble wobble. Theres like 5 buttons u need to touch to get wump wump.
